Bye Bye "NAB" world

Hi All,

With less than 2 days left, before I leave the lovely world of "NAB", I thought I'd write a little note to say where I'm at.

From now on, I'm more likely to have regular (and I mean almost daily) entries in my blog. So stay tuned, you'll get to see more pictures, and read bad comments about my activities over the next 9 months.

So what's happening? It's only 9 days till I get in my new car, recently named Xena, and drive around the wonderful world of Australia. People keep asking me "when are you going to be ....."? Well I can't answer that, as I don't want to be too restricted by timeframes. The bottom line is I'll be travelling for 9 months, doing 6 states, so work on it as 1.5 months per state. Oh, and I'm going clockwise as well. Here's a little table of my rough estimates for you.

March ... Victoria
April ... SA/NT
May ... NT/SA
June ... WA
July ... WA/NT
August ... NT/Queensland
September ... Queensland
October ... NSW
November ... NSW/Victoria

Anyway, in closing, I hope you all have a lovely year, I know I will. Hopefully I'll see you in my travels along the way. If you have any suggestions about where I should go, send me an email (monty_os@hotmail.com), they'd be greatly appreciated.

This is the End......Of our House that is.

Hi all, I hope you're all well. Just thought I'd write about what's happened over the weekend. My brother and I finally moved out of our house, a house we owned for 6 years together. Over the last 6 months or so it's be a busy time, painting the house, keeping the garden in order and keeping the whole house tidy, but no more.

As of friday, the house will no longer be ours, but both of us should be reasonably happy, we sold the house at the right time, and should have lots of money to spend.

Only have 5 weeks to go, until I'm off on my big trip.....but who's counting.

The New Year

Hi Everyone. Well it's been a few busy weeks. What with going up to Sydney for NYE, and visiting a very good, and very pregnant friend, a lately it's been about emptying my house. It's only 2 weeks to go until I have to move out of my house for good. But on a good point, come that day, I'll have plenty of money in my pocket.

It's only 7 weeks now till my big "around Australia" trip. I think I'm almost ready to start the drive, I just need to work out which stuff I'm taking, and what I'll be leaving behind, as it looks like my car's going to have way too much stuff in it.
